We’re excited to announce the release of our new mouse series in China: the VXE MAD R series. This new launch redefines the limits of mouse performance. So, what kind of mouse is this? Let’s take a quick look.
The VXE MAD R is a fine-tuned and optimized version of the popular VXE R1 mouse. Here are the dimensions for comparison:
- VXE R1: Length: 120.6mm x Width: 64mm x Height: 37.8mm
- VXE MAD R: Length: 120.1mm x Width: 63.2mm x Height: 38.1mm
By comparing the two, the MAD R is slightly shorter by 0.5mm, narrower by 0.8mm, and taller by 0.3mm than the R1. These subtle adjustments result in a more refined and comfortable grip. Now, let’s dive into its performance and features.
Light, Extreme lightweight Design
Weighing only 36g, the VXE MAD R is at the pinnacle of lightweight engineering, continuously evolving and breaking limits!
Its ultra-lightweight design ensures precise control during gameplay, allowing for seamless movements. The mouse features a Smooth Ice-feeling Coating for an excellent touch, an F-Switch E10 Flagship scroll encoder, and Omron Optical Microswitches for crisp and light clicks. It is equipped with PAW3395 and PAW3950 sensors for superior tracking accuracy. The optimized dimensions also improve ergonomics, making it perfect for both claw and palm grips.
Flagship Chip
The MAD R series is powered by the Nordic nRF52840 flagship chip, offering lower power consumption and enhanced performance.
Dual 8K Polling Rate
The VXE MAD R series supports 8K polling rate, while the MAD R Major takes it a step further with Dual 8K polling rate, offering up to 8000Hz in both wired and wireless modes (the 8000Hz wireless polling rate requires pairing with the included 8K receiver).
Please note, using an 8K polling rate requires a high-end PC configuration. Below are the minimum recommended specs:

Battery
The VXE MAD R series comes in two versions: MAD R and MAD R Major. Both models feature a 200mAh battery with an approximate battery life of 60 hours at 1000Hz polling rate.
Keep in mind that enabling the 8K polling rate will significantly reduce battery life. A long battery life version with a 500mAh battery is in development, offering extended battery life while maintaining the ultra-lightweight design.
